Spirituality and Vibrations

Vibrations beyond our five senses
In the new age certain words that used to mean one thing, are starting to be defined differently. There are many, many books out there on spirituality and in the majority of them the term vibration is written a number of times.
Vibration as we know it in modern times is defined in the dictionary as such: Vibration is a mechanical phenomenon whereby oscillations occur about an equilibrium point.
Sounds have different frequencies. When a musical artist plays high notes on their instruments, it vibrates at different rates depending on the notes being played. Your ears can pick up the vibration, with the help of your brain, but you cannot actually see the vibration.
If a person can hear music, but cannot see it, what then are they talking about in spiritual books regarding the subject of vibrations?
A person has an ally or an enemy called emotions. If the emotional scale is positive, then the person will vibrate at a higher rate. If the emotional scale is in the negative zone, then the person will vibrate at a lower rate.
A happy person tends to attract events and things in life that are preferable. They have a mindset that is positive, believe in themselves, are optimistic, and live life with a certain passion and desire. They understand this thought process, and have faith that whatever they ask for the universe will deliver to them. In spiritual terms this is having a high vibration, and just like the musical note it’s not visible, but one must trust and have faith that it is there.
An angry person will also attract events and things into their life, but they may not be preferable depending on what they want. If they are angry and want events that do not move them up the emotional scale (see the Jerry and Esther Hicks for the emotional scale), then they are in the right zone. A state of mind such as this will bring, among others: jealousy, envy, worry, blame, resentment and hate. For example, pretending to be happy and really being envious and jealous of someone else, despite the fact that you appear happy, will still only bring emotions from the vibrations you are sending out on the lower scale.
Think of vibrations as a seed. You plant corn, you get corn. You plant happiness, you get happiness. Just because you cannot see the happiness coming back to you, doesn’t mean that when it does happen that it’s coincidence or luck. You generated that happiness with the happy vibration you send out every day.
It really all depends heavily on your frame of mind.
Be happy, live life to the fullest, and all the good vibrations that you send out, will eventually result in the life of your dreams.
