Green Frog Visualization Meditation

Through the eyes of a frog
For this visualization/meditation get comfortable in your favourite place. Lie down on a blanket inside or outside, think peacefully, and find as quiet a place as possible. Relax your body and start breathing deeply, slowly closing your eyes
and bring the imagination faculty to life.
Imagine walking along the shore of a lake in comfortable clothes. The beauty of the sun
glimmers off the shiny surface of the water and rises into your eyes like a heavenly wake up call. The waves softly caress the shoreline as you saunter along the beach, and a feeling of utter peace and tranquility starts to envelop you.
Sitting down on the edge of the beach, you take off your sandals and place your toes in the sand wiggling them comfortably. The warm sand connects you with the earth as you gaze over the beautiful lake. Some birds catch your eye as they fly overhead and a dragonfly hovers above you and lands on the beach. You shift your attention back to the water and notice a green frog sitting camouflaged and comfortable on a lily pad not far away. You lean back onto the warm sand and begin to imagine you are that green frog.
After a few moments the ripples in the water around the lily pad look larger, almost like waves. As you gaze around, you realize you have the point of view of the green frog sitting on the lily pad.

The world seems very interesting as flies and bugs scurry by while you sit watching them. Looking below the water line, some fish glide by gracefully and then a school of minnows swim along with a beautiful shining neon colour beaming off the side of them

The beauty of the minnows has you one the move and you hop off the lily pad into the water. The minnows turn and swim towards you, and you move your legs towards them, stretching them which make them feel so nice. The minnows dart around you as you sort of hover in the water. They circle your position and gently nudge the side of you. You begin to move and swim with them, enjoying the feeling of being free under the crystal clear water by the beach.
Leaving your minnow friends you dive to the bottom and gaze upwards. The sky is blurry
through the underwater view, which it is a beautiful blue hue, and not a cloud in the sky. Sauntering along the bottom you run into a large snail travelling slowly. The antennae come out, and the snail appears to wink at you as it goes by. Suddenly a mud puppy races by and comes to a stop right in front of you. It appears to smile and then slowly works its way under a rock and disappears.
Realizing air is needed; you lunge to the surface and gather some oxygen, look around for a moment, and dive back down. This time you work your way towards the beach and come up beside some reeds as you gaze into the sky. Slowly you transfer your awareness back to your body.
Awakening from the meditation your eyes gradually open. A smile comes upon your face as
the feeling of being with nature is on your mind. The refreshing feeling has you walk around with a new energy. As you gaze around a dragonfly lands right in front of you. Smiling to yourself, you notice how beautiful a day it is and how peaceful life can be.
Leaving your minnow friends you dive to the bottom and gaze upwards. The sky is blurry
