Get in Touch with Yourself

Walking in the woods
In modern society, it’s very easy to lose sight of what makes life worth living. There are house payments, car payments, bills, bills, bills, two
cars and other items. If you have kids, add another large percentage to that toll.
Objects cost money, and you need to pay for them, but can you do without some of the items? Or better yet, do you have any time for your family, much less yourself?
When you were a child, you used to play with dolls, cars or both, happily setting up army men, or playing house, often playing with friends or family members using your imagination to pretend you were a mother, a father or in charge of an army. Or possibly you were in make believe space ship ready to save the universe, or riding a bike pretending you were a bus driver and stopping at certain places to “pick people up”. There was also art, physical activities, hobbies reading and writing.
Everything you have done is still stored in your subconscious mind.
Go back and access one of your favourite moments or hobbies. Put aside some time for yourself, and/or your family and do it. Pick up a book, order it online, pick up some paints a pencil a model kit and lose yourself in what you used to like to do.
The eventual outcome of this is what people need most, an outlet that can lead to happiness. It’s quite possible this will relieve stress and likely stop the incessant flow of worrying about money, things, possessions etc. You might even get an “aha” moment, and align yourself with your higher self and get some intuition that will send your life spinning in the direction that is was perhaps meant to be going in the first place.
Remember these songs; “Don’t worry be happy” and “Have you never been mellow”? These are just two of many songs that come to mind that actually have lyrics in them that on should follow. It will lead to a simpler, stress free life down the road.
So next time you are near that art store, or in that old hobby shop, buy something you would have bought many years ago, or better yet, something that may interest you now, but do it for the utter happiness it will give you once you start having fun with it.
Happiness always leads to the right path in life.
